# App ## `` - `href` - events: Loaded, Ready, Reloading - methods: runStep ```xml ``` ## Guidance - `href` is the full address (`host://`, `home://`, `xios://`) of an application manifest - not `app://`, relative or `{expressions}`; to choose at run time bind it (`select="/"`), which fires Reloading. - Size it; the embedded application needs `instances="0"`. Act on Ready, not Loaded. - It talks through a document both bind by the same address, or the host's `callMethod` runStep(stepId). Host resources, theme and CSS don't reach it; its view names must differ from the host's. - `title` names its frame for screen readers.
